Co-Lamp was born during a summer intensive at NYU’s ITP program, inspired by the way New York City stitches together the natural and the man-made. Central Park against skyscrapers. Tree roots breaking through concrete. I wanted to reflect that tension in both form and function.

The result is a sculptural lamp with a modular key system that also acts as the light switch. The organic wood grain was digitally extruded and 3D printed into a wavy, translucent lampshade. The base was CNC-milled and joined using traditional woodworking techniques. No screws, just smart design—and maybe a little glue.

It’s part lamp, part love letter to hybrid systems. Old and new, digital and analog, natural and industrial. All coexisting in a compact, quietly poetic object.
