BRIEF: When Ralph Lauren Fragrances launched their Polo Red Parfum, they reached out to me to create content visualizing its sensory elements.

APPROACH: Inspired by the desert heat and the golden-hour horizon, the three key notes of this fragrance are cedarwood, orris, and absinthe.

TREATMENT: After capturing these elements through photo-capture methods, I reduced them to particles in order to visualize how these sensory elements render a complex scent composition. Ultimately, point-cloud data was formed as a means to visualize the olfactory elements of Polo Red by Ralph Lauren.
